Wrexham win 2-0 over Newport CountyMullin unhappy with fouls throughout the gameCalls match 'More like WWE'WHAT HAPPENED?
The Red Dragons won courtesy of James Jones and Elliot Lee after the fairy tale club had suffered through the entirety of the first half, thanks to a barrage from Graham Coughlan's side. Mullin called the affair 'more WWE than football' after the striker received multiple pushes and tackles that he felt went largely unpunished.

Coughlan, the Newport County boss had said ahead of the match that Wrexham and his team weren't on the "same planet" when it came to quality, and hence promised a "feisty game".
"I think the fans have been looking forward to it since the day the fixture list came out," he said. "It will be a very, very feisty, a very intense game, and one we are certainly looking forward to."

After the game, Mullin went over to celebrate with the fans in the SToK Cae Ras wishing them a "Merry Christmas". With the victory, the team owned by Rob McElhenney and Ryan Reynolds was certain to finish in third place at Christmas, tied with Barrow on points and six points behind the comfortably leading Stockport County. In an attempt to carry on their fabled tale, Phil Parkinson's team is vying for their second straight promotion.
WHAT NEXT FOR WREXHAM?
The team's next game is on Boxing Day, December 26, when they play Swindon Town. Mullin will be hoping for an easier outing this time out than against Newport County.
