As reported earlier this week by The Sun, Leeds United are showing interest in signing Sheffield Wednesday goalkeeper Keiren Westwood this summer.
Also pursued by Southampton and Celtic, the in demand shot-stopper is one of the best goalkeepers in the Championship and as such Leeds United fans are pretty excited by the prospect.
Capped 21 times by the Republic of Ireland, Westwood has spent ten consecutive seasons in the Championship or Premier League and is a proven talent at this level.
In Bailey Peacock-Farrell, the Elland Road side have an exciting young prospect already at the club but he is still developing and the addition of Westwood would provide serious competition and likely improve the 21-year-old’s game further.
